Thought it'd be worth a seperate thread.
Since it's the new year, with new opportunities and new suggestions from my parents that I get off my arse and do something, I thought I'd renew my interest in photography.
To this end, I will photograph your band for free. I can do graphics as well as photographs (text, logos, special effects and whatnot). Live or promo, or even cover art, drop me an email or a PM and we can discuss ideas.

I don't mind both of you turning up, but I'm going to have to draw the line at that - 2 photographers is enough! Why don't you both come down on Feb 2nd - be cool if you could get there to photo all the bands. It's a punk gig. I'll PM you cunning passwords so that people don't pretend to be you to get into the gig!
I don't know what the normal thing is - you guys get namechecked on each of your photos, but the bands and us are free to use them?

Mainly for live gigs and promo photos for our sites etc! Could even arrange small payments from gig generated cash etc. Well anyways, anyone interested and is from the norwich area give us a message via myspace or just reply here.

What he said.^ This is all an exercise in getting a portfolio together for me, so no worries about any money (unless you want some prints done - I'll work out how much that'd be if you do!)
Joe - Since I'm having to drive from Swaffham, you'd probably be better off looking locally for a permanent photographer to do every gig etc. That said, I'll certainly do a one off, or some promo/coverart stuff!

Well, upon arriving at the Arts Centre my senses told me that, since I had no idea who -J- was or indeed what band he was in, I had made a very rookie error.
No matter. I just took photos anyway.
Have had no time to go through all the pics yet, but here are some gggritty shots.
At high ISO to compensate for the bad light, noise became a problem, and the lens wasn't fast enough. I can see one of those 50mm 1.8 Mk IIs in my future...
