Took these a while ago. It was probobly the only day i've ever taken any photo's that i haven't deleted immediately afterwards. Some of them have stupid file names because i'm a retard and uploaded them like that.
I know they're pretty boring, but i like them. _________________
I know nothing about art and photography! but here are a few pics from new year's day.
I went for a hoss on me bmx down to Reedham ferry to chill with a lager...and i heard these Geese that were comin at me o i snapped a picture of 'em before doin a runner.
Biked passed a huge cattle shed near Norton on the way home.
A sugarbeat factory.
lol. nothing relevant....just my drunken friend dressed as a pirate.

took that in a car park. (I don't usually take photos)
stuck that together. (I was bored and had too many photocopies of stuff)
painted that (excuse the flash.) Its my art faggy picture for A2 coursework, its not great but I'm proud of it, my photos arn't too good.
Thats all I really have on my pc to be honest, that and a few drawings I thought deemed worthy of being scanned and some old never used gig flyers.
george-redshift, I love those flowers and the royal arcade photo (there's something about that place I really love)

hahaha, the way those eyes light up is fuckin' scary.
wez that exposed pic is really cool, and that painting is awesome too. How do you get that layered texture effect? that might sound like a stupid question i dont know that much about painting.... _________________ Can't stop the bum rush!
hey cheers man, I just used the rankest looking paint I could find, I did some experiments and the rankest paint in the art supply cupboard worked the best it crumbled really nicely when I set about scoring into the painted surface. I them added ink which then went into all the cracks and marks I made, the cracks haven’t shown up on the photo. After adding the ink I made a PVA varnish type thing and added ash (to get the dirty brown colour) and the PVA allowed me to add the newspaper print.
Going through the process I don’t half feel like a fraud. Haha
It’s probably the same reason I get it in the neck from lecturers for not 'selling myself'.
nice guitar pr0n, and i remember that escher inspired picture, i love it. Was that all one set up shot? guy lying on his back on the stairs, someone walking up, and someone lying on their side at the bottom?
Or was it stitched together in photoshop? Either way it's pretty inspiring and i've always wanted to do some sort of shot like that after seeing it in the last art thread here. _________________ Can't stop the bum rush!

Cheers Weasel - all one shot, done as you say. I'm a bit lapsed, photography-wise (due mostly, I think, to a complete lack of space on my hard drive. Will be sorted soon), but I hope I can get me eye back in this year... I'd like to get some practice at music/band photography, despite not having any primes. So if you want your band photographed, I'll come and do it for free, so long as I get free entry!
George - your inner-city stuff reminds me of the work of a lady I came accross on a photography forum, and got really into her work: http://www.annemcaulay.com/ - See what you think.
