sorry, no hadn't noticed! Yes, I do believe that you are playing that night so I hope you are coming!
No no you misunderapprehend me! _I'm_ not playing (except in my dreams) but I'm led to believe 4D Jones and Ida Mae are.
Maybe you or someone from the bands can confirm before I set out on the long trek (all of 2.5 miles) to The Marquee tomorrow night _________________ Jilkes

I'm not sure on the price to be honest, they don't trust me with that kind of info.....but i'd guess a couple of quid, three at most. _________________ www.myspace.com/uktravel = new band
Incidentally from the website I see you are into Thin Lizzy. Here's a bit of instant nostalgia. When I was a spotty faced kid in London's East-end me and my mates used to sneak (we were about 14/15 at the time - well underage) into a local Blues club called The Hounds (never did find out why it was called that). Used to see a lot of bands that were just starting out then (this would be '68, '69, '70, '71) like Free, Deep Purple, etc but one of the bands that was particularly memorable was Thin Lizzy. They were a three piece then before Gary Moore joined them. They really rocked the place. At their 2nd gig a few months later the police were called because someone complained about the noise (yeah, I know, things don't change much do they?). Total panic as all the people who were smoking funny fags (remember this was at the height of the hippy flower power thing) tried desperately to look invisible. _________________ Jilkes

Sounds pretty darn cool, wish i'd been able to see Thin Lizzy in their prime, would have been incredible! I managed to catch their UEA show recently, obviously not the same without Lynott, but as close as i'll get to seeing them, and it was still a fantastic show! _________________ www.myspace.com/uktravel = new band

Managed to catch one of their shows some years later after Gary Moore had joined (at the Colloseum I think but not sure). Now that WAS awesome as Gary brought this hardcore blues influence to the band.

Righto, well I think that's all cleared up now anyway!
Surprised you (or Harvey) didn't put it in the gig guide?
Unfortunately I'm driving there (not going to risk walking home in the rain) so it's back on the shandys tonight (of the beer and lemonade variety I hasten to add).
