Hi Everyone,
Charley here @ The Brickmakers. Just wanted to let you all know that "B2" will be opening on Saturday 1st July, however, we are having an sneak preview evening for bands on Thursday 22nd June. You are all invited to come along and have a look at whats going on and chat with us about the new venue and what we have planned for it.
Also this is the last call for the BAND COMPETITION run by Earth Studios and Ashwood studios. We are hosting the comp here in "B2". Please hurry and get you entries in asap.

Woo Woo! I've always thought the Brickies would be awesome if they could do a little less covers bands. Saying that, my covers band She/Sez will be playing there on the 25th July. Thanks peeps! _________________

when is the battle of the bands deadline as we have a gig in less than two weeks at the awesome venue that is the brickies (yeah i sound like a brown-nose but the venue is real nice, especially because we can hear ourselves) and i was thinking we could sort a form out then?
The judges are meeting up next week to go through demos so I don't think you will have time, however...if you send me your demo I will fill in the form for you and take you entry form up to Earth Studios, but you will have to be wuick. Get your demos in the post straight away and let me know what category you want to be in, there are four;
1) Rock/Indie
2) Punk/Alternative
3) Folk/Acoustic
4) Metal
I need the following details from you:
Name of band
Representatives Name
Tel No
mobile No
If you let me have the demo and the above details, Ill get your entries in. That's about all I can do I'm afraid.

Oooh. I only live around the corner so I'd be intrigued to have a sneaky peak before everyone else. Unfortunately my originals band isn't nearly up to speed to start booking gigs (shame). Hope you don't mind me just being nosey. _________________
The more the merrier I say. Everybody is welcome who is interested. Even if your band isn't ready yet, it will be at some point wont it. Why dont you bring your band to our jam sessions on a Monday night, as from July 1st it will be spread across both live rooms, it's gonna be MASSIVE.
(sorry - getting carried away now...) Seriously, you are more than welcome to come on thurs and bring yer band if you like.
