That post made me miss my trans green PRS CE24.
Do you find that with having small hands you play better on a fatter neck? thats what i've found and as people will tell you i have the smallest hands known to man
Ha, man I love trans-green guitars, but there aren't many around at the moment.
Hmm... yes and no. My Jackson had a fat neck, and it was nice high on the fretboard, but playing lower stuff got tiring really quickly. The ESP suits me better for general playing, but it's deeper and narrower near the body and it's really annoying to play. I think the best I've found are on Corts, especially the PRS copies - they're pretty uniform all the way up, medium width and chunky (but not quite fat).

i'm into the fender classic C profile, but i also quite like the 50's gibson style. I fret so badly on lolly stick necks its unreal, i really struggle to get decent pressure behind the chords. The PRS wide/fat carve is probably the best profile i've ever felt and definately the easiest to play!

Yeah, the PRS necks are lovely - the Cort copies are pretty close, but maybe a bit narrower near the body. Or maybe I'm just a cheap-skate and enjoy the value-for-money feel
