We're a four-piece rock band from Norwich, and we're looking to add a keyboardist to our line-up. We've been going for a couple of years, and have just got a new bassist, so thought this would be a good time to expand the line-up.
Our sound sits somewhere between The Mars Volta and Radiohead, but we wish to expand on this with new material, so other influences are very welcome. Ideally we're after a rock organist, who can do some hammond organ type stuff, as well as maybe some percussion, but we're open to other ideas, too. At the moment our drummer also plays synth and fires samples, so there's the possibility of taking over some of these duties, too.
We're due to start recording an album soon, so you must be able to commit to recording, as well as 1-2 weeks of touring when it's released. Male or female, good sense of humour preferable.
Other influences amongst the band include: Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, old Muse, QOTSA, Pixies, The Smiths, Rage Against The Machine, At The Drive-In, Porcupine Tree, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, DJ Shadow, Pink Floyd, The Wurzells etc... _________________ www.myspace.com/witchers
