Yo wassup, I'm looking to join or form a band.... obviously.
I'm 24, live in Norwich, I can play guitar (rhythm mostly), bass and can do vocals also (I can do the metallic screamy/growly stuff well and can sing a little, though I am getting vocal coaching as well to help with that) and am also into music production and whatnot. I would preferably like to do vocals though, as it's what I enjoy doing the most. My main influences are Dir En Grey, Fear Factory, The Defiled, The Cure, X-Japan, Emperor and a bunch of others.
I'd like to do something heavy preferably but something a little different, though I am open to other styles. I would like to stay away from 80's influenced hard rockish hair metal cheesiness though, nothing against it just been playing music like that for a while now and would like to move onto something different. I'm also not really into doing anything jokey and tongue-in-cheek really, I like to do something that is serious and create something that's both energetic and emotional (without being too emo, haha).
I don't have my own amps and gear yet (I have guitars obviously) due to lack of funds, however I do have a lot of gig experiance and am extremely dedicated to music.
hey buddy i'm interested in vocals i can primarily do all the heavy growls and shit like that not to good or the 'normal singing' my influences include lamb of god, devildriver, slipknot and cradle of filth! where are you guys based
