i dont think that he was suggesting that you have banned everyone...
he was merely suggesting that you have put off the vast majority of people on here from posting because of your twisted view on what is and is not fair....there are plenty of other (better) forums out here who arent run by total dicks, which are as easy to get to than darkside...(this is the internet of course).
this place needs more than ONE mod....and the mods who run it NEED to be a fair and neutrally minded induvidual (and before you say anything about the banhammer...just because you havent banned EVERYONE who disagrees with you, doesnt mean you are a fair mod...as for the neutrally minded comment, i know for a fact that you have a vendetta against a good few of us on this forum- me included, because we know what you are like).

I can't beleive you guys are being serious?! I have been browsing these forums for years although not really posted much. I've never seen any heavy handed moderation, if any threads or anything was locked it was always well overdue!
I think Suicide and Smoother have a persecution complex.
Clydefrog has been modding these forums for many, many years (WAY before you guys showed up) and I've never seen him ban anyone unfairly, persecute or treat anyone unfairly.
There's been some proper dickheads on here that have rightfully been subject to the banhammer and to be totally honest you chaps don't even come close.
What you also have to remember is that Frog mods these forums voluntarily and has no other agenda other than to maintain order and make sure people don't overstep the mark.
This also has NOTHING to do with the fact I'm in a band with him either, if I thought he was being a douche and abusing Admin privileges I would tell him straight.
At the end of the day, if you guys think you could put the time in to mod these forums the way they have been for years I'm sure Frog could well do without the likes of you throwing your toys out of your pram at the slightest sniff of a viewpoint that doesn't fit your ideals.

Vendetta?!? Are you serious? I couldn't give a flying fuck who most of you are. Do you really think I sit here all hours waiting for someone to annoy me so I can get some power trip out of it? Grow the fuck up you whiny twat. I have nothing *personal* against 99.999999% of the people on here. This is the internet. I have no idea who most people on here are. Do you think I carry some internet grudges? No, because I'm not a child. I have better things to do with my time.
For you information, there *is* more than one admin, and there are mods. They don't really come here any more, mainly because the guy who actually owns this site has no interest in it whatsoever. He bought it for financial reasons. So, I'm purely here because I enjoy contributing something to the local scene, however small or pathetic that may be. The Norwich scene fucking sucks, so anyone that can help turn that around is doing the right thing in my book. Your attitude sums up why Norwich has a shitty music scene.

noone posts here because there's no decent music scene in norwich, i pass by here to check out the band members forum to see if there's any decent people worth checking out, which is pretty much a waste of time but old habits die hard

i dont think this forum is advertised very much
most the younger kids i know havnt even heard of norwich darkside
it could be brilliant
people do still use forums and not just social network sites like facebook myspace etc etc, but only really if theres people constantly posting various bits and bobs
i think i only knew of this site when i first joined through someone at plug
anyway im sure theres not a massive budget to advertise and its a pointless opinion tbh but just thought id share it with you all
