Forums like Ultimate Metal and Musicradar have these threads...why dont we have one here? Very Happy

You can post pics of your Studio setups, Rigs, Setups...whatever you play or do. Nothing too big or too small. Past or Current. Il imagine Timmysoft will enjoy posting on here as much as me haha.

Maybe share info on what peices of kit geared you towards progression. What guitars played the best for you? How did you aquire them?

Lets gather round the campfire darkside.

Thats my rig right now, its pretty simple.

this is when things got a little crazy a few years ago!

I'veowned stupid amounts of gear but finally settled with Laney. The GH50l is probably the best sub £2000 head i've played. Michael Kelly Guitars are superb, i'm so lucky to be endorsed by two such great companies. I'm not using any boosts or effects, just guitar- lead -amp, anything else is just diluting the pure tone.

I've really stopped with the GAS now. I think having endorsements has helped, it kinda limits what you can actually play. I've got a couple of fixed bridge Ibanez RG's coming on endorsement in the new year, looking forward to those arriving.

nice rig (s) timmy haha Smile MK guitars are sure as hell baller peices of equipment. i want a patriot custom (i still get GAS Wink haha)

atm im gassing for a blackstar ht20. my setup has changed a wee bit since the photo was taken.

ive kinda reached the stage now where instead of taking all the "industry standard" gear, i have done some research and found myself some gear which works as well as the more expensive shit for a lot cheaper.

Well my patriot will be up for sale very soon!

I've had all manner of top end gear but i can honestly say the laney gh tears all other amps to shreds. Last night we played with a band who had an engle invader and pro cab, thats a £2800 rig, but still my laney made it sound sterile and thin.

I've even found that the laney can do teh br00tz with both gains up around 7, the best thing is the huge clarity to the single note and picked stuff.

Mines a Patriot Custom 2009 in Walnut. set mahogany neck with walnut capped mahogany body, all edgebound, carved and contoured. SWC pick-ups (i've run a multimeter across these and they're pretty much identical to the seymour '59 and Jazz sets). Coil taps on vol/tone pots for pick ups, three way toggle. I've changed the bridge to a Wilkinson roller bridge for zero friction with heavier strings, graphtech nut (cut for 11-50 boomers). Grover machineheads. I'd say they're the best bang for the buck on the market at the moment. It'll be £200, i dont have a case for it but it'll fit in any LP style case.
