The title says it all really. In about a months time, my band will be looking to record drum for around 12 tracks - we literally just want the tracks, no editing, mixing, post-processing or anything else is needed. Obviously at the end of this we want all the individual tracks exported to disc so we can sort everything else out.

So: where's good, where's cheap, where should we avoid?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

We did our new tracks at Plug. Cheap n' cheerful as ever and they sounded good straight out of the tracker.

Yeah that's our first choice, but they're not sure if they'll be able to do it at the moment, so I'm looking for other options just in case.

I've always liked the mills drum sound.
Think it'd be around £200 for the day though but you may be able to get a cheaper deal with different engineers..... worth a shot

Leeders may be doing an offer too, engineer cost on top though. Leeders both studios sound nice from what i've heard on dry drum tracks

Have you *seen* that place? If it didn't sound good, I'd be pretty fucking angry. Good call though, I'd totally forgotten to check there.

Personally I'm not keen on anything I've heard from the Mill, especially not for the money they charge.

Cheers me dear!
