The title says it all really. In about a months time, my band will be looking to record drum for around 12 tracks - we literally just want the tracks, no editing, mixing, post-processing or anything else is needed. Obviously at the end of this we want all the individual tracks exported to disc so we can sort everything else out.
So: where's good, where's cheap, where should we avoid?
I've always liked the mills drum sound.
Think it'd be around £200 for the day though but you may be able to get a cheaper deal with different engineers..... worth a shot
Leeders may be doing an offer too, engineer cost on top though. Leeders both studios sound nice from what i've heard on dry drum tracks
We have been recording our album at ashwood studios in bowthorpe has a amazing drum sound! One of the best rooms and best engineers I have ever worked with and I have recorded my fair share of records!
