I'm selling my old PEARL DX Professional 14" x 5.5" steel snare as I don't use it anymore.
I've cleaned it up, put brand new Aquarian batter and resonant heads on it, I've also put a brand new snare wire underneath.
It's got tiny, minute little patches of oxidation on the shell here and there and yes it is pretty old (from a 1980's era kit) BUT it's as steady as a rock and to be honest it actually sounds pretty nice with the new heads on it.
Anyhoo, I'm only asking £30 ono for it as it seems a shame for it to be sitting here doing nowt. It'd be a good drum for a beginner or someone looking for a second snare for tonal differences in their sound.
