Saw this a couple of days ago and my response was Fuck Me, ticket ordered a couple of days ago for it's awesomeness. Lets hope the Waterfront doesn't go for pure volume and actually cares about letting the different instruments cut through instead of the usual wasp buzzing in your ear style sound.

In saying, Well Fuck me! I made have been wrong. In music the is such a wide variety of music being made, so lets not say that. More like it just may not be to our likeing.

Screw the Waterfront, that describes Dilinger every time I've seen them live (3 or 4 times I think) - they're great on record, but live they've just an unlistenable mess every time. Next to bands like Cephalic Carnage, they just don't seem to be able to pull it off live.

Support is Rolo Tomassi though I think, who were good fun live when I saw them.

I suppose it depends on the venue, I saw them a few years ago at Reading and they had a good sound then.

Yep i've seen them a few times and although i didnt understand what was going on it sounded tight.

I've also seen them numerous times and i'd say 80% of the time they are quality live. The sound is usually tight and they are so energetic on stage, a good live band all in all.

I was gonna go to this. Dillinger, Rolo Tomassi and The Ocean? Three great bands.

But I'm seeing all three a week after at Damnation Festival so I saved a bit of cash and fobbed the gig off. I might still turn up though.
