Right, I have decided to streamline my collection of stuff I don't use and as such I am going to offload a few pedals potentially. I don't know how much these go for now as I haven't bought one for a long time so my prices are just guesses and I am open to offers. Note that none of the pedals come with a power supply as they were used on my pedalboard and as such I never needed a separate supply. I can post them but that will be on top of the price.

Boss ME-50B - £125
Bass version of the ME50, has three 'pedals' one covering filter/tone, one for distortion and one for modulation/delay, there's also a built in tuner, compression and an expression pedal. The pedals actually offers a larger range of good effects and because it doesn't rely on presets (they can be used though) you can alter the setting whilst playing which is especially useful for fine tuning or messing about with the delay functions. I don't have the box but the instruction booklet is lying around somewhere and will be included.

Marshall Virbratrem - £30
A nice tremolo pedals with the vibrato option also, has a very good range in tremolo sounds from slow to ridiculous choppy, also the strength of it is well adjustable.

DOD Stereo Flanger- £30
I have to admit that I am not too keen on selling this pedal but it gets no use whatsoever now, I do love the sounds that it offers though.

Washburn MX-1 - £25
An 80's distortion pedal which gives a really thick tone, the fact that you can control the bass and treble does give you a lot of options. The gain in volume is minimal though so it is very good for something like distorted general use but maybe not for stick out riffs. Note that mine says metalhead on it and not super distortion but apart from that it's exactly the same.

Dunlop Crybaby - £40
This is the standard crybaby and has had no mods etc, has a classic sound but for me the range on the potentiometer linked to the pedal is too sharp, I have quite a heavy footed approach and can't really control it too well (read: I'm wank at using it). I think I have still got the box for this one too

Behringer PB 100 Preamp/Booster - £15
Cheap booster which I bought for when I was using both active and passive basses, made the changeovers a lot easier as I didn't have to try and fiddle with the amp. Nothing special as it's a behringer but it does the job fairly well, note that it's plastic cased though so probably not suitable for being a 'stomp' box.

Zoom 505 - £10
An old multi effects unit, a collection of presets which can be altered, it's nothing special but you can get some good sounds out of it if you are willing to sit down with it for a while. It also has a built in chromatic tuner and as such is probably worth the £10 just for that.

Pedalboard - £???
I have also got a stainless steel pedalboard which I made that I'll sell, it runs from a standard figure 8 power lead (10m I think included) and has power outputs for 5 pedals I think. As it is stainless steel it is fairly weighty but does the job well, it is the steel with that corregated pattern on it like Hetfield has on some of his guitars. The power leads for the pedals will be included but not the patch leads as I need them for something else. Note that I can't post this as it's far too heavy but I do travel a lot with work so I might be able to drop it off on route to somewhere.

I am also considering selling my Behringer BX300T bass head, it is a 300W head with two outputs and I think a rating of 4ohm. It is actually very good for the money, I am just thinking about upgrading to a valve amp, something like an Ampeg SVT so it needs to help fund that! I had had this since new (2004 I think) and looked after it well, it has minmal gigging use and sounded lovely through Chili's 8x10 a couple of weeks back. Yet again, no postage due to he weight of it.

Is that pedal board just a thin piece of metal you have cut round?

Nah, my Dad made the frame from steel, I think about 3mm thick and then welded up the box for the electrics.

SS, The bass head I am not sure about price wise, what would you say?

Fr0ggles, we can chat at practice.

I'll have a little think about the amp and get back to you. I can't make the DSHS gig unfortunately as I'm in Manchester working that day (plus I'm not in Norfolk at the minute), I properly gutted though as I saw them in London last year and they were really bloody good, I wish my band was supporting them!

It's called 'Diamond Plate' - hence the name of the POD Dual Rectifier sim. What do I win?!

Do you use the Washburn on bass? If so, what's it like?

Steve
