I'm after a laptop that I can use GuitarPro5 on while I'm out of the house, not much else I'm going to be using it for other than Solitaire so it doesn't have to be crazy powerful/loaded with gadgets or anything.
This is what the software says:
Minimal Requirements (MIDI Playback)
Windows® 98SE/2000/XP
Administrator rights for installation
Pentium 500 Mhz - 128 MB RAM
Sound card - CD-ROM drive
35 MB free hard disk space
RSE Requirements (Audio Playback)
Windows® 98SE/2000/XP
Administrator rights for installation
Pentium 4 - 1.7 Ghz - 512 MB RAM
Sound card - CD-ROM drive
700 MB free hard disk space
So basically as I understand it, it needs the minimum requirements to edit and preferably the RSE requirements to give me the proper voices in the playback.
