Wow pretty nice actually. I like how it has its own task manager so you can see how fast YouTube videos are loading and such. There are a couple of issues I've noticed so far, one of which happened just now as I was typing this message, the formatting went a bit crazy for a second but it seems OK now.. also, since Google are one of the biggest advertisers on the internet I doubt there will be any built in ad blocking functionality any time soon.. although it is open source so there is the possibility of 3rd party plugins (though according to this plugins might possibly be running with low privilege levels.. I'm not sure what limitations this will have). On the whole.. it's pretty nice.. but then that's what you expect from Google these days...

Yeah, that cartoon was well good.
There are a few bugs though, I find that when editing text it sometimes takes a while for the cursor to catch up with you which can be off putting. Still it was only released the other day.
I have to say I like it though. Especially as it's open source, means there'll be loads of addons on download.com for it soon.
It also claims that if a page fails to load or crashes for whatever reason then it doesn't crash the browser, only the offending tab within the browser.

I like the incognito windows, it lets you browse without anything showing up in your history or previous searches.
Well useful Razz

I will be interested to try this out if somebody writes some plugins such as no script and ad block plus, until then it is going to be firefox.

I'm using Chrome now. I'm really into it, and will keep using it until I find a reason not to.

EDIT: I found a reason not to use Chrome. There doesn't seem to be the ability to fast-scroll using the middle button.

I will never use it then as it is my most used button!

Sounds good but im a mac fag and safari has never crashed on me ever (which surprises me greatly as its supposed to be a huge pile of pap) and some of the features mentioned here sound like they were popped straight out of safari. Mind you i like the idea of how it deals with all them processes so i will patiently sit here and wait for the mac port and give it a test run.

I may try this later today as initial reports are good, especially regarding speed. I'm not really digging the new Firefox and wish I hadn't upgraded; I especially dislike the massive 'back' button up in the top left. I mean, why?

Anything that pwns Explorer (not hard) is great in my book, I can't believe around 75% of web users still use that utter pile of toss! Probably just down to consumer ignorance though as it obviously ships with Windows. I wonder how many people out there are actually aware that you don't HAVE to use Explorer to get on the web?

EDIT: I just saw this, but it's probably been fixed by now: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/techdigest/20080903/ttc-google-chrome-uses-old-security-lax-e870a33.html
