I'm an experienced drummer looking for a band of enthusiastic people. I've been trying to get something quite specific on the go but its a tough call. I have a range of influences.
I've wanted to do a project that follows along the lines of Tool, Muse, APC and Audioslave. Basically something heavy, melodic and in parts progressive.
Other influences range from COC, Down, QOTSA, Orange Goblin and Clutch, through to Devildriver, Chimaira, Lamb Of God and Mastodon. Not forgetting the old boys Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Sepultura and Megadeth.
I'm looking to play drums in a group in any of these styles, ideally to work on original material, but I am happy to do covers to start out with.
So if anyone is out there who needs a solid drummer to play rock, metal, stoner or similar, please give me a shout 'cause I'm restless and need to get something together.
Am just putting together a band and looking for a drummer. We have only just started but have a Bass player / singer and 2 guitar players. We are all between 26 & 32 starting out with covers while we get to know each other but moving on to writing our own stuff. Influence include:
Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Early Green Day, Hundred Reasons, Taking Back Sunday - pretty much anything to be honest.

Kommissar is somewhat unexpectedly looking for a drummer following our own's decision to step down from the band. We are a group of individuals ranging from 16 to 23 dedicated to trying to do music on a full-time basis, currently looking for a both a singer and a drummer to bring the lineup back to strength.
