Norwich Danceable Math-rock band Battlements are looking for a guitarist who must be the following:

You are aged between 18 - 28 (ish)
You have your own guitar (that you can play to a high standard) and amp
Can practice twice a week and have the drive to work hard
Can play gigs and little tours away
Have your own transport
Can sing lead and or backing vocals confidently
Are based in Norfolk or can make it into Norwich to write and practice


They've already got shows booked with:

Bombay Bicycle Club
This Town Needs Guns
Jonquil
Dananananaykroyd
Shield Your Eyes
Haemostatic Picnic Races

..and have played so far with:

The Maple State
Tubelord
Colour
Blakfish
Haemostatic Picnic Races
Shapes
Caesura
Shield Your Eyes
Secondsmile


A really good opportunity to be in an incredible band with some very impressive contacts. If you want to hear what they're like, come to the Arts Centre for 8pm tonight!

It's to replace the current guitarist.

I think they're planning on recording and writing all Toms parts down and then auditioning a new guitarist to learn and take over.

Loads of really amazing gigs coming up across the UK so definately worth a try if you're a guitarist Smile
