My honest opinion is that while it's been well played, recorded and produced as always by you folks, it's not as good as the tracks I've heard from your last session (Little Hell and AVD). Not trying to be a dick, this one just seems a bit 'pop punk by numbers' to me - especially the backing vocals: they just remind me of Blink 182.
PS: Whoever did your myspace page has coded it so you can't skip tracks or adjust the volume on your music player? At least that's from my end, I can only see the track names with no other player controls. _________________

We are pop punk, but i'd say we're a million miles away from blink182, i dont think theres another band doing drop tuned triplets and 4-way harmonies, the closest thing to it would be 4 year strong. We dont have na na na backing vocals like blink or single string leads!
The myspace is currently getting an overhaul thats why its all fucked up.

Call 'em what you like chap - that's just what I came away with!
Maybe the song is a grower, but just to put it in some kind of perspective: I had 'AVD' in my head for a good few days after hearing it, whereas I can't remember a damn thing about the new song and I only listened to it about two hours ago. Still, I'm sure people will enjoy it so don't worry about my critical bollocks. _________________
S'my least favourite of the new tracks too (after the mini preview I got from the enigmatic vocalist in a smoky get-together in the dead of night). Still pretty f'kin sweet though, I love you guys more and more! _________________ The Vanguard - www.myspace.com/VanguardUK

dudes.... this is so fuckin legit. really amazing production and a great song.
got to mention you spacky myspace layout though, the one that doesn't allow track skipping. this means i have to go to the trouble of refreshing the entire page so i can hear your new track over and over again. nazis.
the track is awesome though, love the 'eat your heart out' bit as well as the harmonies you have laid down on there.
this really is fucking awesome though, if i wasn't buzzing my balls off at 1.09 am i would probably be able to form some sort of criticism. but the fact that this song is my wake up alarm on my samsung really shows how much face you guys really rape.
MORE!!!! keep em coming you greedy foreign people.

Cheers bro! You and your band will be getting a shout out in the sleeve notes! We're dead chuffed with how its turned out and the feedback so far has been immense, no.1 unsigned emo band on myspace!
The myspace is being sorted, we've had to get another company in to sort out the mess that the last guy made of it.

awww you don't have to!! we haven't actually done anything for you haha... major congrats on the myspace thing though!! it's only going to get better from now.
listened again this morning with a clear head and sill really love it. The song itself sounds really fluid and natural, the only criticism of the last session (except the gash-ass production) is that the songs sounded a little forced, kinda like you were trying out a new writing style and not completely found your feet with it. This new one is great, doesn't sound like you're trying to be clever and even the mega shoutalong-cheesy bits like the epic 'eat your heart out' part don't come accross as cheesy at all because it sounds like you genuinely mean it.
you keep getting better and better though, lined up the EP with 'make like a tree' on it with the last 3 songs, and now this one. the improvement from each one to the next is remarkable.
only a matter of time now! you had better promise us a norwich support slot on your tour :-p
I actually really enjoyed that. I'm having a right ol' pop punk thing at the mo. It's a relief not to hear a fucking breakdown. Local acts have killed them for me. But it's happening all around the world. I want to cry with the amount of recylced metalcore riffs. I'm loving the pop punk sound but with more meaty guitar. Great stuff.
