Basically, I use FL Studio and want an adequate and cheap USB synth for making writing parts far easier. As it is, I'm tired of clicking the grid in the piano roll and want an easier way to do it.
I'm not after anything fancy as I really don't think I'll ever use it for more than pissing about in my bedroom making bad lo-fi electronica.
So, any suggestions? I have a mate who swears by M-Audio. Anything else to add?
i have an m-audio keystation 49e. just plug it in via USB and fruity loops should recognise it. reason and logic does for me.
its nothing fancy, had modulation and pitch wheels, octave switches, thats it - but its all i need.
pretty cheap too, maybe £50? can prob get smaller ones for cheaper, but m-audio are pretty decent and this has never failed me.
I've got that same M-Audio USB synth despite not being very able in actually using it. I've got software that came with it, as well as software that came with my USB mic. Nothing special but its easy to use, well... easier at least
