We can help, we want to get rid of ours:
Ford Transit MINIBUS - ie. can't be insured as a van
Reliable motor, seats 9 people, just had a new battery, plus it has a custom equipment storage space built into the back! And it has nice curtains and slidy windows and shit.
£500 o.n.o
It has its MOT next month so we'll be looking to sell it after that... _________________

It's more expensive (most companies won't even insure you if you're under 25), and you're covered for carting people about.
You can drive one under a normal UK driving licence, depending on when you took your test I think, plus the stuff below:
<snip>
Holders of a full category B (car) driving licence may drive any of the vehicles listed below:
a passenger carrying vehicle manufactured more than 30 years before the date when it is driven and not used for hire or reward or for the carriage of more than 8 passengers
a minibus with up to 16 passenger seats provided the following conditions are met:
i. the vehicle is used for social purposes by a non-commercial body but not for hire or reward
ii. the driver is aged 21
iii. the driver has held a car (category B) licence for at least 2 years
iv. the driver is providing the service on a voluntary basis
v. the minibus maximum weight is not more than 3.5 tonnes or 4.25 tonnes including any specialist equipment for the carriage of disabled passengers
vi. if the driver is aged 70 or over, is able to meet the health standards for driving a D1 vehicle
</snip> _________________ Keep up with local events and plug your own gigs!

HMMMM well i think we can comply to most of that. if we get rid of a couple of seats then we definitely can't carry too many people!
we're going to try and get insured on one of the band members dad's company insurance as well. heh heh
he's gonna make money out of us as well _________________ FEMALE FRONTED POP/EMO/ROCK
