Just wondering if anybody had any exp with the program hijack this?
I keep getting RUNDLL errors on start up, I surfed a few forums and the anser every time was get hijack this and post the log file, so here goes...cheers if any one can help
Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2
Scan saved at 08:46:49, on 21/06/2008
Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.5730.0013)
Boot mode: Normal
well there are several different forums that you can put them in, I just wondered if any one knew on here is all, i might just end up re-installing Windows lol
My suggestion is to disable every unecessary startup application and reboot. If you still get a rundll error, then it's probably a service. So disable all non-microsoft services and reboot. If you still get it, it's format time!
Arr cheers for the help but I got it sorted, I just backed some stuff up and played around with the program, seems that a naughty virus added a file to my HDD and then added the startup code to my registery, I had got rid of the file before, so I just deleted the registery entry....yay so I avoided the re-installation of all my useless shite :p
