i'm gonna be getting it - finally! although i heard you can use it without having to fork out £60 for a wireless thing - is this true?

anyone done so and is it easy?
we have wireless internet(virgin) in our house, is it just a case of plugging an ethernet cable from the router to my xbox?

I bought the wireless adapter as the alternative was a 30 metre network cable.

But, yes, you can just use an ethernet cable.

my xbox is downstairs right next to the virgin internet point, so i only need a short cable! if i can just plug it in and go i'm away! sweet!
