anyone got one?
my parents basically still use a VHS recorder and the picture is awful.
so, i thought i'd get them a digital tv recorder.
am i right in thinking these things that freeview built into them aswell, so you can record any channels from the freeview?
what about if the digital signal fucks up though, and you want to record analogue tv - is this possible?
how about this one?http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5321258/Trail/C%24cip%3D1500006565.Sound%2Band%2Bvision%3EC%24cip%3D1500006656.Digital%2BTV%2Band%2Bfreeview%3EC%24cip%3D1500006659.Digital%2BTV%2Brecorders.htm

pvr's are pretty handy. i have got a digihome 80gb one which cost about £90 last year. you need to make sure that they are twin tuner as this allows you to watch a different channel to what you recording (alot of the cheaper ones are single tuners). as for recording if there is no terrestrial (sp?) signal, i don't think that is possible as there isn't a decoder in it for terrestrial (sp?).
the sagem ones are meant to be good so possibly have a look at this as it is the same price. _________________ -one person's terrorist is another's freedom fighter-
