Christ man, you've got the interent: there's literally hundreds of programs that will do it!
My personal program of choice is RazorLame - basically, the best encoder around is LAME (hence the link to Audacity link ^up there^ referencing it), and RazorLame is written by the same people. It's not the fastest around, but the results are great and it's pretty simple to use.
Audacity is a great program, but if you just want to convert files it's overkill.

My personal program of choice is RazorLame - basically, the best encoder around is LAME (hence the link to Audacity link ^up there^ referencing it), and RazorLame is written by the same people. It's not the fastest around, but the results are great and it's pretty simple to use.

I downloaded 4/5 that just didnt work, or that converted 60% of the track, and then asked you to pay for it.

Maybe I should add that RazorLame is free then
If you ever need something like that, go to Download.com and search for it - you can find lots of stuff like that, plus they tell you if it's free/a trial etc., and most of the better programs are rated.

I should point out that RazorLame is literally just a frontend for the LAME encoder, made by the same people - it's almost identical to CDex (which is what I used to use), but quicker and cleaner.
