is there any way i can make one work without writing it to disc, because ive just aquired something with alot of different iso's in it, and i want to see which ones to use!

Yeah you can use Daemon Tools which will let you mount ISO images as if they were a burnt CD, allowing you to see the contents and to see if it works.

I use "Virtual Clone Drive", which is probably similar, and a no-brainer to use. Plus it has a funky sheep logo.

I use IsoBuster, it allows you to 'open' the ISO in its explorer type window, then you can extract allt he files into a folder. then just opent hat folder and you will have all the files which would be on the CD. works great and you dont need to mount it to run the program/game.

I second that of t3h fr0g - Virtual Clone is a demo after all, and IsoBuster is too long winded (extract files before you can use them)
