Yup, everyone go, should be a goodun'. Unfortunately i'm not able to make it this time (fucked up driving test so looking for cancellations at short notice) so it's up to Chris to represent the hair metal and heavy stuff I usually play.
was a fucking awesome night till all that PSYCHOBILLY shit started! seriously there are about 5 people dancing and 3 of those are so fucked they would dance to britney if it was put on.
yes i agree, but its so hard to get a drink when everyone is running for the bar or the cafe...
plus i'm not sure if you download your songs? the quality sounds kinda off compaired to the other sets, don't mean to have a go i'm sure its some peoples cuppa tea

Maybe its a production problem? One of the reasons I avoid a lot more extreme stuff is because it sounds total crap when it comes out of the speakers. Then again the new Blood Tsunami CD has pretty good production on it
But hey, if you don't like it, is 30 minutes really that long to wait for some more traditional stuff? I mean I always used to enjoy a 'meltdown mission' where me and a mate went downstairs to cause some havoc for a bit!
Anyway, i'll hopefully be up next time (if Chris'll have me, I passed my driving test!) so I could be playing some kickass metal/sleaze for everyone to dance like spazz's to.
awesome dude, are you usually on before or after the psychobilly? trying to place you, we've usually stayed downstairs or in the cafe after that, to be honest i'd be pretty happy with a hair metal, sleaze and nu metal evening, its a shame there are not many other alternatives to wraith/rawkus

*ahem* I really don't want to piss on Wraith because it's a Norwich institution, but there are quite a few other metal/alternative nights in Norwich, mostly at Hades Bar... for example I DJ at Rival...

There are alrenatives to Wraith Rawkus, I DJ a punk/hardcore set at PusH Harder which is the 3rd friday of the month (up against Chains) at Hades Bar underneath Spencers on Prince of Wales.
Wraith is really fun though, both as a punter (for 3 years) and as a DJ (the last year or so). Yeah, if there's bad hair metal or sleaze screeching out of the speakers it's probably me or Chris. (I'm the sexy one :p ). I tend to have been playing 'around' the Psychobilly lately, although wasn't at the last one.
hey guys awesome night last sat!! we did leave when the psychobilly came on but enjoyed the first half tons danced more than i have in ages, crimson ghost was it you djing after chris? if so you rocked!! lol

No, that was Jamie, his first night too, had the floor jam packed. Wish I could say the same for my set (last of the night) but for some strange reason everyone had already left Anyway, I still had a great time, thanks for everybody who came.
aww well gutted we missed you, thought there was a lack of hair metal if it was you, are you and jamie doing next wraith? if so can you both try get on before the psychobilly? all my friends want to go as soon as that go's on. Maybe if it was on last it would make everyone happy

Yeah, I reckon if Chris wants me next time I'm gonna try to go on before them. Playing to an empty room isn't too fun. Plus everyone missed out on some awesome hair metal! _________________
does chris ever come on here? i can see he used to, probably got fed up with all the bitching, would be awesome if you, chris and the other guy went on first, it would keep the metallers there and the psycobillys would still get a dance at the end

Yeah, he doesn't usually post in this forum though. (I'm pretty sure he just ignores the bitching though, everyone likes to have a whine about setlists, yet invariably their own club nights would look dull as dishwater if they ever started one). _________________
