Evening all. My attempts to find people to go to gigs with here in Norwich have so far failed quite spectacularly. So to that end I'm throwing caution to the wind and saying sod it, lets try and get a bunch of strangers together and see what the hell happens!
I dont have any plans for this Saturday night. Anyone fancy going to the pub? Any pub. perhaps the Brickmakers as I've not managed to get there yet and I'm told its a place I'm likely to bump into some of those like minded people! Chance for people to get together and maybe make some friends and all that jazz. Who knows, if it all goes well maybe we'll head on to the Waterfront or Hades or summit. See what we feel like on the night!
I'll also be trying something similar for the Volbeat gig in December. I simply have to go to that. Black Spiders and Volbeat for £10 is pretty goddamned awesome. I should probably buy a ticket come to think of it!
I would help out but unfortunately I am old and a social recluse most of the time, only showing my face at gigs and social events roughly once a month. I went out a couple of weeks ago so I'm not due another outing for at least 2 weeks.

A few bands on at the Marquee tonight if metal is your thing? I'm the fellow with a mass of golden pubes for hair. I'm easy to notice. _________________
I do like a bit of metal, but I'm out with the flatmate and his work buddies tonight already I'm afraid. They're not really into metal. Quite the opposite in fact. Bloody terrified of metal would be a more appropriate description. Damn fine suggestion though, so thanks! Makes me feel welcome and all that.
No takers for tomorrow then, eh? Meeting random's is always fun you know! Well. Nearly always. I did once spend most of an evening talking to a guy with an encyclopaedic knowledge of obscure cartoons. Well, I say i talked to him, actually I had to communicate with him via a hand puppet as he couldn't talk to people directly. Bless him.

Hah! I coincidently did go out spontaneously on a whim after watching a play last Saturday and met lots of random people I hadn't met before in the pub. It was cool. I appeared to have accidently turned up in the middle of an anniversary party. They were a very friendly bunch
