Behringer V-amp Pro, Digitech Control 7, Warwick 2u case, loads of leads!
Goodbye to pedals, those little fuckers spent all their time being in my way and making my awesome tone less awesome. At least now everything is in the loop and nothing separates my guitar from my amp apart from the super wicked green lead that i built.
Since i only use delay and chorus in a couple of songs i've not even spent out great deal on getting midi, in total i spent £130!! so if i dont get on with it i can just flip it all and make the money back.

OH MY GOD TIMMY'S BOUGHT A BEHRINGER
I thought that was heresy?
I got one of these second hand last year, it has some very nice fx but I found it irritating that it "clicks" between sounds, although to be fair I wasn't looped into the amp.
The echo stuff on it was very fun to fiddle with. And the lights look like something from Star Trek. Which is always a bonus. _________________ ShowCAD would complain of the horrors of fletchcadillac?.

I've owned a lot of behringer gear over the years their rackmount stuff has always been good quality. i wasnt going to pay out a fortune for an Eleven rack or a Pod XT Pro, because i literally use delay and chorus on a couple of tracks and in a live setting at the venues we play at, no-one will be able to tell the difference between a £150 rack and a £700 rack.
I'll probably upgrade to an Eleven rack if i get on ok with this one, but i need to tour a bit to find out if i like the set-up.

I've had a few peeps come thru the venue with these, and being honest they sound fine. I've got Behringer outboard stuff for Comps/FX and they're pretty solid.
I did however have some guy with a lovely Ampeg bass rig going through a Zoom 606 the other day. I'm sure he set it on the "Make my 1k rig sound like a £20 argos jobby" preset.
Related, I've just ordered this little bugger, which I'm determined to not like and sell, however it's shiny. Very shiny. And no amp modelling, so won't screw up my Orange TT's niceness.

Yeah, even the solid state behringer amps are pretty good, their valve amps are quite horrific though, they sound like bad solid state designs!
Love those m13's, i did look at the m9 before i got all this rack stuff, if it had an onboard tuner i probably would have gone for it!

The M13/M9 has a tuner, you hold the Tap Tempo button down (EDIT: FX2+FX3 on M9), how good it is I've no idea though... the tuner's on PODs aren't particularly awesome, though my current tuner is my iPhone + TC Electronic's Polytune app.
It's worryingly good for a software app.... _________________ ShowCAD would complain of the horrors of fletchcadillac?.

The polytune is the way all tuners will go soon, those fuckers are frightning!
i hate all the press two pedals/hold one pedal to get to the tuner, i like it on the v-amp because i can hit one button on the front panel, thats easy enough to do mid set or during a sample.

The app is more frightening. Unamplified, still picks up my SG, and a/b with my TU2 i swear it's more accurate. Creepy stuff... _________________ ShowCAD would complain of the horrors of fletchcadillac?.
mega mega mega excited about the album, its really taking shape now, just the vocals left on five tracks then its mixing all of next week. Its nice to finally hear my bands new sound!
