| Album Reviews: AIDS Wolf - The Lovvers LP |
My brain! My brain is melting!
That is most likely to be most peoples reaction upon first hearing this band, and during and after too. While tracks like "Spit Tastes Like Metal" and "The Hat Collecters" stab and stab at your ears til the knife is blunt others such as "Opposing Walls" and closer "Some Sexual Drawings" deliver a strange repetitive noise nirvana that somehow clenses, while at the same time rapes your brain. This Canadian 4 piece will make you want to bury your head under the pillow. But for those of you with a taste for the mind numbing world of noisey, dirty post-punk this will prove a worthwhile 25 minutes of "music".
